In 2014, Turkish government published a water loss control regulation which enforces municipalities and utilities to announce large size water loss control tenders. Therefore, several local and international companies have started their water loss control projects. This event is strongly supported by Turkish government which provides a unique opportunity for the companies to present their valuable solutions to Turkish municipalities and utilities.
Together with the World Water Council and the Netherlands, the OECD is establishing this Roundtable to facilitate an ongoing dialogue between the water and finance communities (broadly interpreted) on how to overcome the global challenges of financing the investments needed for water security and sustainable economic growth and water’s contribution to the wider set of Sustainable Development Goals. His address from the Vatican will help shift how the world values and understands its single most precious resource: water. Immediately following the Papal address, at 10:30 a.m. CET, 400 thought leaders from around the world will convene at WATERSHED. These policy makers and academics, together with students, artists, business leaders and men and women from the most at-risk populations will begin an unprecedented dialogue around the value and values of water.
