Following a four-year joint collaboration between the Korean Government and the World Water Council, the Water and Green Growth Final Report will be released to encourage implementation of the Water and Green Growth concept. This approach seeks to support economic development through a sustainable approach that is both environmentally and socially sound. Senegal will be among the few African countries to reach the Millenium Development Goals as for access to clean water. In 2015, water access rate will be 100% in urban and well above 80% in rural areas in Senegal. What lessons holds Senegal for the rest of Africa? What are the best practices? What’s next?
