    Éric Tardieu, appointed Vice-President of the World Water Council at the Board of Governors meeting in Paris on 11 December 2022, said : "I am proud and honoured by the trust placed in me and will do my utmost to represent the Water Community".

    The meeting was held prior to the Cairo Water Week, on October 15, and was opened by H.E Hani Sweilam, Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation.
