Summary: This report compares eleven assessments costing MDG Target 10 on water supply and sanitation. It identifies potential weaknesses in each calculation method and and explains the reasons for the differing estimates. It also highlights the difficulty of comparing the various estimated costs and of costing Target 10, and formulates recommendations for future cost assessments.
